Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Lash Lift?

A Lash Lift is a technique that will curl your natural lashes if you don't want eyelash extensions. It will look as if you used a really good eyelash curler. This service will be an hour and the lash lift will last the duration of the clients' own lash cycle (up to 6 weeks).

What do I need to know prior and post Lash Lift service?

Clients must arrive with bare and naked, lash and eye area. A clean surface will give the best results. If needed, we will have oil-free makeup remover, face wash and contact lens cups and solution. Please remember that time was allocated for this service and taking the time to remove the makeup will steal that time.

Post service after care instructions is to not get your lashes wet or applying anything on them for 24 hours. It's that simple! There is no maintenance and you can even use regular mascara after the 24 hours.

The next service will be booked after 8 weeks of the last service. No sooner.

Who might not be suitable for the Lash Lifts?

A client with a positive reaction to the patch test.

A client who has weak, damaged or have large gaps in between their lashes.

A client with an eye infection or eye inflammation/Blepharitis.

A client with Hypersensitive or Allergenic eyes.

A client who recently had Chemotherapy (please wait at least a year from the last treatment) or permanent makeup procedure done.

A client with a cyst.

A client with some type of abrasion or swelling in the immediate area.

A client with Xanthelasma.

A client with Alopecia.

A client who habitually pulls their lashes (Trichotillomania).

If needed, please consult with your physician.

What is a Lash tint?

This semi-permanent tinting on the natural lashes gives you a light mascara look. Works best with light-colored lashes, especially blondes. This beauty service cuts out the need to apply coats and coats of mascara every day. A colored-dye is carefully applied to your natural lashes for about 5-10 minutes and then cleaned off. The tint will last about 4 to 6 weeks depending on the clients' aftercare.

What is the aftercare for lash tints?

Do not use strong eye makeup removers for 48 hours as this may strip the color. Avoid hot steamy showers or saunas for 24 hours after the treatment.

Do not have shampoo or conditioners on the lashes for the next 24 hours.

Avoid oil-based beauty products on the lashes.

Make an appointment for the following lash tints in about 6 weeks.
